We loved the personal touch this property provides to its guests. Alex greeted us with a smile and had a true Pura Vida spirit. Our unit had everything you would need. We loved the screened in porch area and the outdoor net to watch the stars at night. We also enjoyed the sunset overlook they have on property.

They were extremely friendly and very accommodating. We arrived an hour earlier than expected yet we were able to check in. The house was beautiful and the sunset view from our deck was one of my favorite experiences from our trip.

Great views, good location not far from town, very clean, unique layout, and also private hiking access… we really enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable. (My only complaint was that it wasn’t possible to distinguish between the shampoo, conditioner, or body wash bottles. But that is a very minor inconvenience.) And my kids are 14 and 11 and there were thrilled with it. Overall, I give this place an A+.

Difficult to find in the dark but there is gate with name on it and they’ll open it for you to enter . Parking at mini-house. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen. Deck with sun bathing area. Jet tub. Patio. Good wifi. Fans. Big zapper. Lots of bugs. Water was not always hot but warm. Great onsite hike with amazing views! Would come back!

This place is absolutely amazing. The pictures accurately protray this property. The views are spectacular, the living space is amazing, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. We were even offered a private chef experience that was the icing on the cake. Book it!

Finca Sunset Monteverde was absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The house is clean, new, and beautifully designed, with attention to detail everywhere. The views are truly out of this world and something you’ll never get tired of, whether it’s morning coffee or sunset. The host went above and beyond by leaving a welcome basket with beer, wine, eggs, local fruits and bread, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved it and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde.

You will have everything you need to stay inside this amazing location, enjoy views with a hot tub experience and nearby grocery to use the full service kitchen set up! The family/staff/grounds keepers were so friendly and provided a lot of information, we did not have the time to take them up on an of their tour offers, but we would have felt very comfortable doing so. There is a small trail option on the property, we were provided with fresh eggs, bread and jam and everyone responded quickly when we had questions. The location to shopping and food is fantastic. I can’t say enough about our experience.

Fantastic view and pretty good privacy, although wish the owners hadn't let their kids run all over the property. There is a short "nature trail" which is more like a little path that runs right behind the door to the house --- kind of annoying. It's not a great path and it takes away from privacy. In my mind this is a novelty property, not a luxury property. You can see the outside below through the slats in the floor, and the place comes with a can of Raid for any bugs you encounter. We actually had a tarantula in our bedroom upon check-in, which the staff was happy to come take care of. Bugs definitely get on the balcony, so you can't turn outside or hall lights on at night. But if you are ok with getting a stray little beetle out of the hot tub before you fill it, or sweeping a bug off the balcony, then no issues. Just be aware, you're in a rain forest. Think "super nice glamping" more than a luxury stay. They ask that you turn off the A/C if you are leaving for more than 10 mins -- that proved to be too hot, so we didn't completely comply. All that said, the house had the right amenities, nice kitchen, and was pretty comfortable overall. The staff leaves you alone unless you want them to clean the room ... all communication through WhatsApp so no one is knocking on the door at odd hours. It was super convenient to Santa Elena (cute nearby town) as well as Monteverde Cloud Forest. And you definitely cannot beat the view from this place.

Lovely place in the forest with amazing views! Toucans were plentiful. We enjoyed the sunsets here. The accommodation is spacious and has everything we could need. There was a beautiful fresh spread of breakfast food waiting for us as well.
