Easy access off of street. Cozy in the woods. Room was spotless! Bathroom was beautiful and totally clean. Appreciated having a hair dryer!!! (so I didn't have to bring mine!) Shampoo and conditioner were there, I would bring my own next time....just a preference! Loved the giant picture window right ...

On premise manager was extremely helpful. Location is outstanding for trips in and out of downtown Carmel restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was poor.Instant packaged oatmeal, cold breakfast patties and terrible scrambled. Definitely eat out - there are many great breakfast spots within 5-10” walk. ...

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
The service is absolutely wonderful and so is the hotel, well located. But we each have three devices so that means we need six outlets and it was hit and miss in the room because all the plugs are everywhere. I think they should be more located in one place…..that was frustrating.
