"Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "This is a great place to stay with excellent service provided by the staff. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was consistently well-stocked, and the staff were accommodating to our needs. We dined at the hotel restaurant a few times; however, the dinner offerings were somewhat disappointing compared to the other amenities. Offering a wider variety of dinner options, particularly vegetarian choices, would improve the overall experience."

"We loved our 3 night stay at the Trulli house at FEUDI MANDOLIVO! The property is amazing, with a beautiful pool area and lots of places to relax and enjoy the view. Our room was spotless, bed was comfortable and ac worked well! Breakfast had a great assortment of pastries, fruits and they will even cook eggs if you ask. Was greeted by the owner who was so nice and even received a free bottle of wine that is produced from the grapes at the property. Location is a perfect spot to do day trips to all of the surrounding villages and cities, we did day trips to Monopoli, Alberobello, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Ostuni and even Lecce. Parking is included and property is gated. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy Puglia!"

"We really enjoyed this idyllic spot, just on the edge of town. Ceglie is known for amazing restaurants and didn’t disappoint and also close enough to beaches, and other towns of interest. Sleeping in the trullo was peaceful and the rest of the home was all we needed. Modern bathroom with shower, and kitchen. Washing machine was helpful. It is a quiet spot - if you are looking for action, noise and nightlife, this isn’t it. The wifi worked for us, slightly spotty, and we were able to watch movies on our phones. The host is great, very responsive to enquiries, and knowledgeable about the area."

Beautifully restored late 18th Century Trullo, close to Cisternino and Ostuni

"We had a lovely stay in this beautiful trullo in mid May, which has been carefully and cleverly restored. It does have indoor and outside sitting space whichx, outside the hotter months, means you can be cosy on cooler evenings. It is located in a very private quiet rural area, but still only 10 minutes or so to drive into Cisternino, a very unspoilt but authentic town in the lovely Itera Valley which has a very good selection of restaurants. The location is perfect both to enjoy lovely walks such as along the nearby aqueduct where the wild flowers and flowering Robina trees were just beautiful. Or visit lovely coastal beaches (about half an hour away and almost empty in May), or take longer trips to iconic sites such as Lecce or the Castel Del Monte.The owner, Richard, and the local agent were both easy to contact and quick to respond with any queries. The photos on the Vrbo site are accurate and the Trullo is well equipped. As Richard said, he is trying to equip the Trullo with everything you might need so it was like a home from home. The Wifi works well, so while the trullo is off the beaten track, you can still be in touch with the wider world when you want to be.Very happy to recommend this Trullo and many thanks to Richard and Pierdonarto"
