Good for a stopover

Very good breakfast and foyer/lounge area. Rooms were small. It's an easy walking distance to the main part of town.

When we arrived at the hotel my husband was not well with stomach problems.The receptionist was so helpful and kind and ordered a pizza for us to be delivered to the hôtel só we would not have to go out to eat.The restaurant in the hotel,is closed over the weekend. He was so kind in every way and we had a pleasant stay there…many thanks to his attitude towards us

We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated.

During check in, I asked for a room to the backside, as I like to sleep with the window open. The attendant mumbled something about the area around the hotel was not a very busy one. When I arrived in my room, it was a room overlooking the road. It was quite warm in there. During the night, I closed the window to many cars drive by. I came down for breakfast the next morning, 45 minutes after breakfast had started. Most of the tables were not tidied from earlier breakfasts. The buffet was half empty (jams, eggs, pancakes and milk for the muesli). Asked the attendant for some milk. 10 minutes later, still no milk. Spoke again to the gentleman who replied that he did check the coffee machine and that there still was milk in it. I explained that I meant the milk for muesli. “Oh, you meant cold milk!!!” He was very unfriendly filling up the milk.

Chambres agréables mais bruyantes

Hôtel agréable, bien situé, avec un parking attenant. Accueil sympathique. Les chambres étaient propres, confortables, mais manquent de climatisation. Nous avons eu chaud, pendant les deux nuits réservées. Elles manquent aussi d’isolation phonique, car on entend les personnes parler dans les autres chambres et les bruits de la salle de bains.

En étape vers l'Allemagne et l'Autriche, cet hotel correspondait bien à notre choix d'étape. il est situé prés d'une zone commerciale et du Canal du Centre. Accueil sympathique et restauration de qualité le soir. Chambre propre et literie confortable.
