"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. "Everything was good apart from the service in the restaurant. It was disorganised. Mistakes were made with the booking and bill. We waited for two and a half hours for a main meal and a dessert. Other patrons and I had to approach staff to make our orders."

A pleasant welcome and I was allowed access to the bedroom early afternoon. The bed and bedding made for a good nights sleep. Superbly placed on the cliff top and walking distance from the town."

"The room we had was nicely decorated with a lovely comfortable big bed and a wonderful seaview. Check in was easy and we were able to buy a parking permit. (As it was a weekend it was initially quite difficult to find a parking space - this was the only drawback) All the staff were polite and friendly particularly the lovely waitress who served us in the restaurant. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. All in all a great experience and would certainly visit again."

"Our room had a few issues when we arrived. It was cold, the water didn't drain away very well and the tv handset couldn't adjust the volume on the set, which was too high. Within 15 mins of reporting these issues, they had replaced the handset, cleared the sink and brought up a small radiator (and explained how the thermostat worked) The room was was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was good with plenty of options. Would definitely stay there again"
