The room was okay the rest was not great at all. This is marketed as a relaxing/spa experience resort but is non of that. Would not stay here again.

The room was very clean and extremely spacious. The bed was terrible though, was almost better to sleep on the ground. They pushed two twin beds together to make a bigger bed, so there was in gap in the middle. The bathroom was wonderful and the shower was high pressured and hot. The hotels outdoor pool was closed, so we were excited to see they had indoor pool, until I found out you have to pay 20€ a person to use it. So, no pool or sauna for me and my husband. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options for food. The coffee was a disappointment; coffee drinks come out of one of those machines you find at a gas station. This hotel was fake fancy. Overall property seemed a little run down, needs some maintenance.

A slightly odd stay, the resort had potential but seemed a bit neglected. The hotel itself was behind a factory for bottled water, further up into the resort was pretty. There was nobody on reception when we got there, another couple were waiting too, they’d tried phoning, social media, email and no answer. I decided to wander off, asked in a bar and they directed me to a different reception in a different hotel. I messaged my partner and the other couple came up too. This would be easily solved with a sign on the desk saying to go to the other reception 5 mins walk away. The room itself was nice and clean and there was a sweet note left about enjoying our stay. We tried to eat in the restaurant at the hotel the first night after they’d told us on reception there was room, they hadn’t told us we needed to make a reservation, when we got to the restaurant they told us there was no room. The hotel isn’t near any other restaurants, luckily we got to a tapas bar in Monchique town 15 mins before it closed and they let us eat there (it was lovely) we’d have struggled if not as there was nowhere else still open in Monchique including the shop. We had a wee swim in the outdoor pool in the sun on the last morning which was nice, the bar on the resort was also nice. So a mixed bag, the issues we had would be a relatively easy fix with better communication.

The staff were absolutely Amazing and extremely accommodating. We even got the pleasure of meeting the owner who was spectacular. They made our stay so great. The only downside was transportation. It was hard to get an uber/taxi in this area and very limited dining options.

Tråkig resort.

Rummet var fantastiskt, kliniskt rent & fräscht! Det som drar ner betyget rejält är att spa inte ingår i priset, att receptionen inte var bemannad 24/7 (då fick man gå upp till en annan byggnad). Att engelskan & förståelsen var riktigt dålig, det var svårt att kommunicera & göra sig förstådd alla gånger. Detta gällde hela området. Avloppet i badrummet luktade. Att det inte fanns möjlighet att handla snacks, vatten eller liknande i hotellets område. Jag checkade in precis efter att lunchen hade stängt & missade därför den & fick vänta tills restaurangen åter öppnade 19:30. Efter en lång resa var jag glad att jag hade en proteinbar då jag endast hade ätit frukost. Riktigt minus att restaurangen inte var öppen från lunch till middag. Uppehållet styrde mig rejält då jag var tvungen att passa tider för att kunna äta mat. Det borde även finnas tillgång till gym då området är litet & ses på 10 min & för att ta sig någonstans krävs att man hyr bil så jag blev strandad på resorten vid poolen i 4 dagar. Riktigt trist. Skulle aldrig åka dit igen men rummen var riktigt fina. Bland de finare & fräschaste jag sett på hela Portugal resan. Vill man bara landa så är det en perfekt destination men riktigt tråkigt om du inte bara vill äta, sova & hänga vid poolen konstant. Frukosten var bra men skriv gärna ut en större skylt att ägg av olika slag måste beställas, alla gäster fattade inte att det fanns ägg & många missade detta.

Muito inferior ao esperado

Hotel bastante diferente das imagens apresentadas. Bastante desorganizado e ainda em manutenção. Edifício sem indicações claras e com estacionamento reduzido. Renovado por dentro, mas exterior do edifício e condições deixam muito a desejar. Pequeno almoço bastante reduzido, sem grandes opções, caso se queira ovos mexidos é necessário pedir a funcionários para trazerem à mesa, mas esta opção não está indicada em lado nenhum (apenas tivemos conhecimento porque vimos outros hóspedes a comer e perguntamos). Uma única receção aberta, e tivemos que aguardar 20 minutos para ser atendidos pois não estava lá ninguém e não atendiam número de telefone apresentado na placa da recepção. Piscina exterior também em manutenção (não nos foi possível experimentar piscina interior pelos horários). Ponto positivo: cama confortável. Resumidamente: Preço/Qualidade não compensa.

Lack of customer service

We arrived after 16:00 after a long journey from England and an hour drive from faro and our room was not cleaned, when I raised this with the staff low efforts were initially made to resolve this, u had to escalate things for the room to get half clean and be told that I should wait. And that they are busy so there is nothing that could me done. First impressions of their customers service was awful. The room was then cleaned the next day.

Nice and quiet thermal villa

Lovely area with amazing views, quiet and good areas for small walks. They were very nice and amicable of a late amazing breakfast

beautiful view but very little staff in each villa only available at the main reception which is a 7 minute walk uphill difficult for someone that’s less mobile and older and didn’t get the room we originally booked but view was beautiful as was the spa for the price
