Welcome to Mönchgut!

Our studio apartment (living room, loft, max. 4 people, bathroom, kitchenette, terrace) is located in a very quiet setting close to nature on the Mönchgut Peninsula in the southeastern part of the island of Rügen. Just 600 meters away, you’ll find a kilometer-long, fine-sand beach on the Baltic Sea. The entire Mönchgut region is part of the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, featuring stunning, unspoiled nature. The vacation apartment was modernly and comfortably furnished in 2000 and, of course, offers free Wi-Fi access. The apartment features a small sun terrace with patio furniture.

Water sports enthusiasts, cyclists, nature lovers, and hikers will find the ideal starting point for their activities here.

A private parking space is available right next to the house, as well as a bike rack for the bicycles you bring with you.

From the nearby Mönchguter Bakenberg, you’ll enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Mönchgut peninsula. The fine-sand beach on the Baltic Sea is only about 600 meters away.
It’s about 4 km to one of the most beautiful surfing spots on the island of Rügen. Kiteboarders and windsurfers from all over Germany gather here. Numerous biking and hiking trails invite you to explore the beautiful Mönchgut Peninsula. In the harbor of the neighboring village of Gager, you can sometimes watch the fishermen unload their catch and, if you’d like, buy fresh or smoked fish. In Groß Zicker, Thiessow, and Lobbe, you’ll find small shops, restaurants, and cafés. The well-known Baltic Sea resorts of Göhren, Baabe, Sellin, and Binz are just a few minutes’ drive away. There you’ll find several large supermarkets. The nearest bus stop is only about 150 meters away.
This vacation rental is located on the first floor and is accessible via a separate entrance. It measures approximately 34 square meters and can accommodate up to 4 adults. The living area features a queen-size bed, a sleeper sofa (sleeps 1), 1 dining table, 1 wardrobe, 4 chairs, and a satellite TV. Two additional single beds are located on the loft (headroom: approx. 1.40 m) in the main room, accessible via a fold-away staircase.

The small kitchenette is equipped with a 2-burner induction cooktop, sink, electric kettle, coffee maker, Tassimo machine, toaster, refrigerator, and range hood.

Upon your arrival, the beds you’ve booked will, of course, already be made up with linens. Please bring your own towels. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, and mirror.

This apartment also features a small terrace with patio furniture.

The apartment still has a late-2000s vibe and is being gradually renovated.

Pets are not allowed.
The visitor’s tax for your stay is included in the price and will be paid by us.
Smoking is not permitted inside our accommodation—smoking is allowed on the terrace.
