"Great hostel experience. Had a private room which was great, very nice indoor and outdoor onsen, good access to hiking. They had some self-preparing food options but you should bring your own food. There are no restaurants in the area or shops"

"The unit is spacious and very clean, and worth the extra drive if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. Note, though, that although the loft can sleep several people, the ceiling is only about four feet high and hitting your head can be a problem! Also, there is no coffee, tea or and condiments provided so be sure to bring your own. The check in was a problem for us, ensure you can make a Japan phone call if needed which we did."

"Amazing location, scenery and views! The area around the hotel is beautiful, and so many things to see within easy walking and driving distance. The on-site Onsens were also great! Parts of the property are getting old and worn, but otherwise clean and well kept. The included buffet breakfasts and dinners were an unexpected bonus!"
