  • Welcome to this sunny A-frame with adventure at your doorstep! This fully equipped, fully renovated chalet is just 5 mins to Monarch Ski Resort and close to the Monarch Crest Trail and endless high-alpine trails.

    This 3 story A-frame comfortably sleeps 6. The two bedrooms on the second floor have queen beds and the 3rd split level floor has a queen and full sized beds. There are 2 remodeled full sized bathrooms.

    The home is easily accessed year round from Hwy 50 and is tucked away into the peaceful mountain town of Garfield, offering both convenience and quiet.

    Inside, you’ll find modern comforts blended with classic alpine charm, making it the perfect Basecamp in any season.

    Step outside to soak up the mountain sun on the south facing porch, deck and balcony - ideal for morning coffee, apres ski relaxation or stargazing under clear Colorado skies.

    From your front door, enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, nearby hot springs and more. Whether you’re chasing powder days, summer trails or a cozy mountain escape, this chalet delivers year round mountain living at its best.

Wow! This property was better than the pictures depicted! For our family of 5, there was more than enough space. Hard to find enough beds AND baths, but this hit the spot - not to mention the full kitchen and dining area. We wanted to extend our stay one day just to relax at the cabin. It is a great location to Salida and Buena Vista (plus mountains around and Monarch Pass). We wanted to try this location during the winter.
