Further on lies the medieval old town with its ochre-colored facades cascading down toward the sea. This neighborhood is home to the Saint-Michel Basilica, and from its summit, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the sea, the mountains, and Italy.

You can reach Italy (Ventimiglia) or the Principality of Monaco in 10 minutes by train, as well as neighboring cities (Nice, Cannes, Antibes, etc.) via the TER.
From Nice Airport:
Take the tram from the airport toward the Saint Augustin SNCF train station, then take the train toward Menton/Ventimiglia (no transfers required); the last train departs at 9:30 p.m. You can arrive at Menton Centre Station or Menton Garavan Station, located just before the Italian border.
Take bus 110 toward Menton (8:30 AM–10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:45 AM–9:00 PM Saturday through Sunday)
