"Located in the centre of the Old Port area, we found it an excellent base from which to explore the city as well as to get to the railway station for trips to Portofino and the Cinque Terre. We enjoyed being surrounded by the luxurious boats moored alongside - not to mention the galleon! Our one criticism was of breakfast, which was hugely overpriced. The buffet offering was good - fresh, plentiful and varied - but wasn't worth Euros 28.90 per person."

Many rooms have a small terrace with view over the port. The included breakfast has a good selection. Laurin is definitely a great choice for a stay in Santa Margherite and the Portofino coast."
