Experience the Midsundtrappene, the longest continuous stone staircase in the world. The staircase with 3292 steps up to Rørsethornet is one of the most beautiful hikes in the area. Also hike up to the top of Heggdalshornet. In the summer you can experience the Midsund Festival. Adventure-seekers can explore The French Cave (Franskhelleren) on Dryna Island or discover the Midsundtrappene up to Bløkallen as well as the old border between Sweden and Denmark/Norway from the mid-17th century on Midøya Island.
