The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

「Overall the house was decent. Very spacious and sprawling. There was no possible way we would have been able to fit sled trailers there, although told we could, 3 trucks didn’t even fit comfortably. Cleanliness could have been better. Bathrooms were “old dirt” dirty. Kitchen was pretty bad especially the fridge/ freezer. Biggest disappointment was no functioning hot tub. It had been broken over a year but still listed as an amenity. That said, we would possibly stay again- but not if planning a...

「We had 2 adults, 4 teenagers, and 2 dogs and had a GREAT stay. The house was huge with plenty of rooms and beds. The kitchen was big with plenty of room and lots of staples. The grounds were perfect and it was extremely convenient to be able to bring our 2 dogs with. We had a great stay, even though we ended up not seeing the northern lights. I would definitely recommend this house for anybody traveling with pets and/or family.」

「Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone...
