"We rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day."
"I stayed here by myself to fish Thirteenth Lake. That was a short commute by car. The bite was slow but the lodge was comfortable and well-run. It's remote with no other options for meals nearby. The menu is limited and cocktails are expensive, but the food is good. The summer rate for the room without a view was pretty cheap for the region and amenities. The lodge is part of a property association including private homes that share the dock and beach. Remote but otherwise easy access to I-87. Cellular sketchy at best but Wi-Fi was good."
"Best seal of approval is that we go every year, and we DO. Private setting, roomy house, easy kitchen to cook in, grill on the deck, and accessible to a lot of places if you want to skip that for the day. It is very easy to relax in this place, plenty to do if you are stuck in on rainy days, spacious enough to spread out, and the dogs love it. We never want for more when staying here. Perfect."
"Great place- cozy and clean! River was low so we couldn’t kayak or float on it but went to Northampton Beach as recommended by owner! Beautiful beach! Place does not have foil, plastic wrap or much for storage not many spices or condiments so plan accordingly. Everything else was great! Also be aware, as I missed, they charge extra for more than 2 people. "
