"Our family had a fabulous time relaxing in the cabin. We enjoyed walking around on the property and taking the hike suggested in the guidebook. The hot tub was a nice treat in the drizzling spring rain. I would suggest bringing a favorite DVD for family movie time as the wifi was spotty. Great trip"

"We were a bachelor party of 8 and we had a ball. It’s a great space to just hang out in. There is so much room for outside activity and a bit of hiking and plenty of room for a big party to rest and celebrate comfortably. Kitchen and cooking areas are amicable and you really aren’t too far from the closest bit of civilization. The host communicated promptly and effectively and we have no complaints whatsoever about our stay. It’s a wonderful little escape of a place. Thank you so much!"

"A group of us came down to WV to go hunting and we stayed at the River Watch during our trip. One of the best things about the house was the large open basement to keep all of our gear. It made it nice to not have to worry if we were going to get the upstairs dirty while also saving a lot of space upstairs. The house was great and the location worked well for us."

"Such a great stay this week. The room was nicely renovated. The bed was comfortable and the rain head shower was magnificent! The staff were so friendly and made check in/out so easy. We enjoyed the pool that was very refreshing for the hot day. We will stay here again when visiting!"

From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The front desk staff was welcoming, efficient, and genuinely eager to make sure I had everything I needed. My room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet — a perfect place to unwind after a long day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities (especially the free Wi-Fi and mini fridge) made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention for their consistent professionalism and friendliness. The location was also perfect — close to local dining, easy freeway access, and safe surroundings. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations: fresh coffee, hot options, and a clean dining area that never felt overcrowded. What really made the difference, though, was how consistent and thoughtful everything felt. This wasn't just a quick stop — it felt like they genuinely cared about my comfort.
