If you’re coming from Dubrovnik and on foot, you can use two catamarans:
1) Nona Ana catamaran – arriving to Polače or Sobra
I recommend to be in port at least one hour before departure in order to buy the tickets. It can be crowded and tickets cannot be bought in advance.
Please check the link below for schedule of Nona Ana catamaran:
2) Krilo catamaran – arriving to Pomena (other part of the island). (also departing from Split)
Bus lines on Mljet are irregular so I recommend to take taxi. Just next to port is Hotel Odisej and I recommend to go on reception and you can ask them to help you organize taxi.
For this catamaran tickets, can be bought online. In case if you decide to buy them on site I recommend to be there also at least one hour before departure.
Please check the link below for schedule of Krilo catamaran:
If you're arriving with car:
You must drive to Prapratno on Pelješac. Ferry arrives to Sobra.
Please check the link below for schedule of Jadrolinija ferry:

National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.
The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...
Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.
Sobra is a small bay on Mljet island that is also one of the Mljet ports. This is the place where ferries from Dubrovnik and Prapratno arrive daily. Featuring a couple of restaurants as well as a handy food shop, this place is a great choice for all travellers.
