What can we say!! This was truly a gorgeous place to spend a weekend getaway. Secluded, peaceful and romantic. Melinda and Jerry went out of their way to welcome and spoil us. From a welcoming chocolate cake and tea to delicious home cooked breakfasts. The little touches like fresh flowers in the room, candles in the bathroom, port and chocolates in the sitting room just topped the ambience of this beautiful home. We have stayed in many hotels in Bowral but none come close to this personalised and friendly service. We will be back again. Thank you Melinda and Jerry. Outstanding

One of the best BnBs we have stayed in. Hosts are friendly and accommodating, great breakfast, and all in a beautiful location.

Tranquility

We stayed 2 nights at Darnell B&B. Needed a bit of a short break. We enjoyed the stay very much, with walks to the lookouts in the vicinity and quiet surrounds; leaving us feeling rejuvenated. The room was very clean, a stand alone bath tub with candle lights was most appreciated. The room's balcony faces the garden, a family of kangaroos were sighted in the morning, enhancing the whole ambient. Hosts, Mel and Jerry were most gracious and accommodating. Loved the place and the area. Highly recommend Darnell B&B for the stay and would stay here again.

Friendly Hosts, beautiful setting, lovely room, and only a short drive to Bowral town centre. A perfect getaway. We enjoyed our stay very much, and I'm sure we will be returning.

Clean, comfy, friendly and quiet.

While this is the owners home, they have purpose built this house as half B&B. Large rooms with huge bathrooms and a comfortable, well stocked common room for guests. The rooms are stylishly decorated and meticulously clean and, as we went in cold weather, they are very well heated. Our room looked out over the bush land and we were delighted to wake in the morning to see Mumma kangaroos with their joeys, just outside our room. The location is whisper quite and the hosts hospitable and friendly without being intrusive. Mel is a wonderful cook, not only was the breakfast delicious but the chocolate cake upon arrival was not just a thoughtful treat but of exceptional quality. This B&B is not walking distance to shops or restaurants but if you’re a hiker there is lots to explore close by. Highly recommend.

Exceptional room

I had such a lovely time in The White Room. The room was immaculate and very comfortable with a beautiful outlook. The owners are really nice and helpful and made me feel welcome - the breakfast was also great, as was the guest lounge. It was a short drive to both Bowral and Mittagong. I would definitely stay again!

Cosy and comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. We were welcomed warmly and treated well. Afternoon tea was delicious and breakfasts were homemade and tasty. Just what we needed to recharge and recover after a hectic few months.

Thoroughly enjoyable

Jerry and Mel were absolutely delightful and were lovely hosts and so welcoming and accommodating. The location was great - close to the look outs and close to town; the accommodation was clean and very comfortable; and the included breakfast was very satisfying. We had a very enjoyable stay and our holiday was improved by the wonderful experience at Darnell Bed and Breakfast

We enjoyed a restful and relaxing getaway at the peaceful Darnell Bed and Breakfast. The hosts were welcoming and provided a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast. Close to Bowral and within an easy driving distance to local activities. Loved waking up to the bush views and bird calls.
