HIstoric property. Beautiful early 1900's architecture Great rooms, clean, very quite and private. Located in suburban neighborhood. Not much scenery, but nice peaceful backyard.

The entire home--from its architectural beauty, yard area, gazebo and landscaping, to the period-style interior is welcoming and invites reflection to a time when life was simpler. Each room is thoughtfully decorated to offer comfort and a homey feel. Even the 10-12 person dining table is set to encourage guests to imagine (or enjoy) a delectable meal reminding us of the importance of sharing mealtimes. Our room (The Sunset) was clean, tastefully furnished and offers modern conveniences but a level of comfort that was so appreciated. **The comforter and quilt on the queen bed are luxurious! The location is perfect for everything we needed to do in town over two days. Though located near a main road, the home is well-insulated from traffic noise and busy-ness. The vouchers to two local restaurants for breakfast were a special treat. My husband and I chose to try the Breakfast Club (right across the street from the Mansion) and both ordered the steak scramble...it was amazing. Staff is great; it is definitely popular as the line was long...but the wait short. Several staff are cooking simultaneously to get the orders out. We WILL keep the Gibson Mansion at the top of our list as a very special Airbnb to stay in when we overnight in Missoula.

The house is beautiful and decor was upscale inside. Our room was very comfortable, the bed was so relaxing I felt like we were sleeping in the clouds. We also received a voucher for Breakfast and it was so delicious. Over all this was the prettiest B&B we have stayed in.. we do many as we travel. We highly recommend, and would definitely stay again if we're in this area again.

Beautiful old home

We had a family from Missoula come to visit. The owner offered us the dining room and kitchen to have a pizza dinner delivered in, but we opted to go out since there were 6 of us. Beautiful building, comfortable bedding, and plenty of local deer hanging around. Would stay again

Beautiful & very well maintained! The easy use of the kitchen to make our dinner & then the relaxation of eating outside in the serene yard was just what we needed after driving all day. Care takers were very friendly & even offered us some of their home made Texas cake, which was delicious! As a final bonus, they offer breakfast coupons for a fun cafe right across the street! The Gibson is definitely worth the value & is an exceptional place to stay!

This was such a find! We were traveling and just wanted to have more of a Montana experience rather than a plain hotel and we struck gold with this place. It was beautiful and historical. We loved walking around the breathtaking grounds. We rented the master suite and had a balcony where we sat outside and enjoyed the weather and the beautiful trees. The bed was supreme and the pillows were also very comfortable. The entire room was so delightful. It was awesome to go down the windy staircase and into the dining room and kitchen. It was like our own place, stocked with milk, cereals, coffee, tea and a few snacks. We only stayed one night so we didn’t cook but could have. We played chess downstairs on an old-fashion chess set. We also got a voucher to get breakfast across the street at the breakfast club which was absolutely delicious! I recommend staying here. So clean and kept up well. You will not be disappointed. The hosts, Tayli & Bryson, answer all your questions promptly, and check-in was a breeze.

Not a B&B

The Gibson Mansion is a lovely house and our room was very comfortable. But it should be described as a guest house rather than as a B&B, because the only breakfast provided on site was coffee and cereal or snack bars. Rather than serve breakfast in the beautiful dining room, they gave us a voucher for a fast food breakfast place across the street in a strip mall. It was underwhelming and not at all what we expected and unlike what we have experienced at other B&Bs in similar types of houses.
