Great Location and Fun For Everyone!

"Amazing location right in the heart of Muskoka. Most affordable place we could find in the area and clean as a whistle inside. Beware of Cobra Chickens (Canadian Geese) as they keep their distance, keep your distance from them too. Loons can be heard nearly every day. Don't feed the wildlife.Fishing off the dock wasn't bad at all (some hand-size large mouth bass and sunfish in our experience), but the best fishing is out in the nearby lakes. Plenty of watercraft rentals nearby. Easy access to supplies and restaurants by car. Nearby Shell station, groceries, dispensary. The nearest hospital is 20mins away, in-town EMS. EVERYTHING you could need. A great stay indeed.Quick aside on those birds for city people: As part of the nature of Muskoka, they will leave poop in all parts of the region. Watch your step."

"Hi there,We had a lovely stay. One thing I would have liked to be aware of was the closeness to the highway, and a few items that were advertised as features of the property were not working properly; hot tub, and stove. We did bring a Blackstone, so we were very lucky we had that, as not everything could go on the BBQ. Other than that, it had everything we needed.The lake was lovely and quiet, and the home/cottage was big enough for our family of 8 and grandson. One of the bedrooms is attached through a breezeway, so it gave their family added peace and quiet for the baby to sleep.There are a lot of uneven steps to the lake (42ish), which didn't pose as a big problem for us, but may be for someone, so just a good thing to know :)Cheers!"
