"We had a bit of trouble as we entered the property and had to unlock a large chain to drive down the path to the house. So after multiple tries and then waiting to hear back from the host or property manager who was nearby we were able to get in. The problem was that the key code had gotten changed, but the materials sent to us by the host was the old code. The good news was we got in! "

My daughter completely enjoyed the backyard with the river right there. The house was warm and comfortable. Location is great, super close to the National Park. Host was a great help and friendly. "We had such a relaxing stay at the Heron Hideaway. The property has a gorgeous view and we were able to walk right up to the river. Local food spots are less than 10 minutes away. Communication with Robin was smooth leading up to and during our stay. It was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you!"

"I absolutely loved the location and proximity to the Foothills Visitor Center and access to Sequoia National Pak, and the little beach at the river to enjoy as well as the amenities within the park, but the actual airstream was my favorite. It was so well appointed and there were always staff rolling around on golf carts or walking through the park checking on us to see if we needed anything, or help with starting our fire for an outdoor cookout etc. The accessibility of the market and the provisions available were awesome, and we definitely enjoyed Happy Hour in the communal area by the fireplace! I am looking forward to coming back!"

"A unique experience in sequoia park. So much offered… quaint pond for fishing and canoeing, archery, s’mores and evening campfire, pool n hot tub, excellent selection of board games and buffet meals !!!! AND very close to Grant tree… all that and very friendly staff . True… the lodge and the rooms are dated.. but they point this out on their website and there are pictures of the rooms . But what the place lacks in fancy upgraded rooms it WELL makes up for in character and activities. They do have a few very new cabins as well is you’re not into the vintage feel"
