Chris's Beach Trip

We really liked the property and its location to restaurants and grocery stores made things very convenient. Need greater communications on using the TV sets. Would prefer a standard cable-streaming service such as You Tube. We stayed during football season.

We would very highly recommend this unit for anybody planning their vacation to this area.

Beautiful Views-Great Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was perfect for the 2 of us. Amazing views from the 19th floor of the ocean. Pool was warm and always plenty of chairs open. Beach was absolutely beautiful and water was clear! Loved having the golf cart and used it every need to ever use our car. Great location and close to everything. Please add some blankets in here for lounging and side tables on both sides of the bed. Otherwise loved it and already booked another trip back in August!

Just what we needed

The view and close access to the beach was great! We had trouble with the water shutting off but management was very responsive and it was resolved quickly. The kitchen was very Bare Bones: no filters for the coffee pot, no chopping board or descent basic chef knife but there were 2 toasters, weird. There is no shower curtain or shower door; so the bathroom floor gets soaked every time you shower. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great which was really important since it was in the upper 90’s. The golf cart worked great and allowed us to not get in our car the entire stay.

It was fine.

The place is fine. Certainly not terrible. But certainly not a dream come true. The unit is very small. There are mirrors on walls to make it look bigger than it is. The bathroom is very large, unnecessarily large for such a small unit overall. The kitchen supplies are about as bare bones as you can imagine. Not easy to cook stuff without proper pots pans utensils. The golf cart was the highlight. It was awesome. Kids loved it. Saved the vacation. All in all, the place was fine, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect & Easy!

I have personally only stayed at one other "Airbnb" style place in the past, but I have definitely heard horror stories. I am always hesitant because of this, and end up settling for a less spacious and usually more expensive hotel with no amenities to use on a long trip. With that being said, staying here was absolutely perfect. It kicked the idea of ever staying at a hotel in the future to the curb! This place was clean, had additional towels/blankets, W/D, easy to use golf cart to get around, and newer kitchen appliances. You could easily walk right to the beach or simply open the balcony door and enjoy the ocean view. The ONLY negatives would be that it is a long elevator ride up to the room from the ground floor; but on the other hand thats what gives it that beautiful balcony view! My favorite part of all, the process of checking in and checking out was very smooth and clear. I would 100% recommend and stay here again!

July 2024 - Beach Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the stay was good. The unit was clean but does need a few cosmetic updates. You could see where they had touched the paint up in places but the areas looked dirty. The faucet on the shower was broken and had to contact Vacation Haven to have maintenance come and fix it. They were there quick and got the problem fixed. Also, I know that the beach chairs and floats in the room is an extra courtesy of the owners but they need to pitch what they have in the room and get new ones. Two of the chairs were so dirty no amount of bleach would have cleaned them. The back of the chairs were black from way too much lotion and body sweat. The third chair was okay but not the greatest.

Could definitely use night stands on both sides of the bed but we just moved a kitchen chair into the bedroom to fix that minor issue. The condo was clean. The kitchen was just fine as we ate out every meal. I did organize the kitchen bc the cleaning staff had just put stuff randomly in places but just took a minute and it had everything you would need to prepare a meal if you wanted. Left bathroom cabinet door needed screws put in properly but we did not need that space so we just called and notified the rental company and they offered to send someone out immediately but we told them it was fine for us and just to fix it after we left. The golf cart was so nice! We really enjoyed it. Overall we enjoyed the condo and the gorgeous view and we couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo was very clean. Bed and couch were comfortable. Decor was cute but so many lamps?? There is also no bedside tables. We had to put the kitchen chairs next to the bed. Tons of closet space. Very well maintained unit for the most part. Fridge and ice maker worked well. The kitchen could use a few more items. There aren't many pots/pans. Only one towel. No large bowls. No plastic bowls w/ lids. We don't cook anything besides breakfast on vacation so this wasn't a big deal for us. The beach chairs are in pretty bad shape. They were all rusted and the arms of the 2 chairs I checked were coming off. They were all covered in sand from the last guests. Rusty water also poured out of them. The view was amazing. We never had any issues with the elevator or a long wait. Having the golfcart included with the rental was so convenient. To go over the the baytowne wharf for the nightly activity or dinner. We grabbed dinner down by the Hilton on night also. Not having to get back in the car and deal with the traffic was great! The golfcart horn doesn't work. Everyone beeps the horn in the tunnel. :) The pool is very clean and well kept. Like any resort.. If you want a spot with a shade or an umbrella get down there early. Towels are on chairs about 7am! Private beach is my favorite part! I wasn't aware when we booked that you can bring your own tents /umbrellas and set them up. You just have to set up behind the people who paid. We paid for 2 chairs and umbrella for the week it $260 w/tip. After talking with several other families at the pool/beach. Some didn't even know what the baytowne wharf was. I would recommend leaving a list of restaurants or what there to do in the area in each condo. People who aren't as familiar with that area would really benefit from that. I have already recommended MVH and this condo to a coworker. We can't wait to book our next trip!

Wonderful view

The view was breathtaking! We could see the beach as well as the harbor side. The condo was nice and clean. Even had a golf cart to ride around the resort! I would definitely give a 10 out of 10!

Waking up to the beautiful view and having coffee on the balcony while watching the sunrise was pure magic. The space was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had all the comforts of home. The bed was comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtfully prepared. You truly can’t beat the location—steps from the sand and close to great restaurants and shops. We’re already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend!
