Our family of 5 loved condo 103D, it might be one of the best we have ever stayed in. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was well-appointed, and the layout was perfect. The condo is also walking distance to restaurants (crowd favorite Surf Hut), shops (Alvin's Island is across the street), and a Winn Dixie is less than a half mile away. We booked this unit because of the ground floor access to the beach and the unfettered view of the ocean. Candidly we were quite disappointed when we walked in to discover a large orange construction fence in front of the entire unit. It prevented us from walking on the grass off the porch, and blocked the million dollar view we were expecting to have. It was also disappointing to learn the management company knew about the fence as it has been up for weeks and is expected to be up for month(s) to come. If we were given prior notice of the obstruction and options to adjust, we likely would have altered our plans.
That aside, we had an amazing vacation and would highly recommend this location and condo unit. The beach is not as busy as others we've experienced closer to Destin, and the complimentary beach service was such a luxury!
