We've been a super host on other platforms since 2015 with hundreds of 5 star reviews. We've always enjoyed having guests at our one of a kind 1880's Victorian home with modern additions. One of only six houses in the Twin Cities right on the river. Relax in the river room with a beautiful bent wood solarium, fireplace and river view. Enjoy the dock for sunsets, downtown views, nature and the colorful Lowry Bridge. A rare historic home we like to call "country in the city".
A buzzing restaurant district. Within a few blocks are 4 restaurants, a brew pub, and coffee shops. The Sample Room restaurant is 2 doors south.
Near Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings, US Bank stadium, Walker Art Center, Guthrie Theater, 1st Avenue, night life, art galleries, live music, cinemas, hiking trails, brew pubs, kayak and bike rentals.
The space:
A spacious, open layout with private rooms, pocket doors, leaded glass, original art, beautiful light and modern furnishings. We've hosted 1 or 2 guests, families, friends for small gatherings, and many business travelers.
Guest access
This is a large duplex. We live on the second floor if you have questions. You have the entire private first floor: fully equipped kitchen, river room with solarium, living room which includes a 4th comfortable queen fold out. Two bedrooms with pocket doors are on the first floor along with a third bedroom on the second floor via a staircase that we do not share with guests. Your private entrance is a sliding glass door on the river-side. The back patio has a table, 6 chairs and gas grill. There's also a side porch so there's plenty of room for gatherings or hanging outside to enjoy views of the Mississippi river.
Our large modular space and huge backyard has been used for special events, family reunions, retreats and weddings. Please ask about your event and we can negotiate a price.
