I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for three weeks: two with my husband and one on my own. I am originally from the Minneapolis suburbs, but I have lived in England for the past 30+ years, coming home regularly to visit friends and family in Minnesota. When my mother died in January, I was looking for a base in my favourite area of the city and this house has been a sanctuary.
The neighbourhood is lovely: scenic, safe and friendly. I enjoyed walking along Minnehaha Creek and running around (and swimming in) Lake Nokomis. Parking in the spot in the alley was easy and there was almost always a spot right in front of the house too.
The house itself is clean and comfortable and I really appreciated that all the basics that you need are provided. My husband and I were especially delighted to discover the electric kettle so we could have our tea! Lots of nice eateries nearby: I particularly recommend Heather’s as a great restaurant. We took the bus & light rail to downtown Minneapolis, to Midtown and to St Paul.
I hope to be back regularly and would certainly stay here again.
