Weekend Getaway

Nice quiet neighborhood that is easy to get to and minutes from the freeway. It is conveniently located to lots of attractions. The host was very nice and easy to work with.

July 4th Vacation

If you are looking for something that meets all the requirements, and is super affordable this is what you need to book. Host was super friendly and gave recommendations on where/what to do while we were in town. Had Netflix on the tv so we could relax once we go back. The only slight recommendation that we ended up giving the host was for a bath mat. Will definitely book with this host again when we come back to the twin city’s.

Great Quiet Spot

The property is in a quiet neighborhood and was a very nice spot to take a short break from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend it for a short break from the world, if you need that sort of thing 😎

Anniversary

We very much enjoyed our time. The area was quiet and it was an amazing g time for me and my husband to just be together. Gabriel was very responsive when we needed something and was an amazing host. The house was more than we could have imagined. Clean and we loved the cozy feel of living room with the fireplace and the over all apartment itself. Thanks again. For everything. It was an amazing time.

Understanding and willing to work with you!

I came up with a friend to the cities for some concerts, and had a meeting to attend one of the days. Originally my meeting was to be virtual, and very last minute it was changed to in person. It was after the cutoff date for changing my reservation, but after talking to Gabriel, they not only allowed me to change my reservation by a day, but they also refunded me!! Amazing communication and service, absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

The owner was kind and accommodating. He made sure we had ample supplies for our stay.

This place was cute, clean, and cozy. We looked forward to returning to this place each evening. The place was not far from the highway so it was convenient to both cities. I would stay here again if I were visiting the Twin Cities again.

Attentive

Super happy with our stay. Our host are amazing. They checked up on us periodically during our visit to make sure the neighbors weren’t being too loud and that our needs are being met. They also gave us a great breakfast recommendation. The instructions for check in and check out were super simple and very clear to understand. Overall we were extremely happy and would be delighted to stay again!

The property was very cozy and clean.There was a code for the door so when we got there late we didn’t have to bother them to let us in. It was close to where we wanted to be and was perfect for our one night stay.

Too many safety issues

The hosts are very kind people. The place is cute and very decorative. There were just too many safety issues that I was only able to stay one night out of the four I had booked. The driveway was not shoveled from snow, my Explorer slid down the driveway into the street with the parking break on while I was inside unpacking my things on the first night. The many deck steps I had to use to gain access were not shoveled and very dangerous. I shoveled and salted them myself, the shovel and salt was provided at the doorway entrance. The only way out in case of a fire was back up the basement stairs to the door. No egress windows, so not up to MN fire code with 2 escape routes. I did not have a door I could lock myself away for personal safety from the rest of the house. There is a door located at the top of the steps right by entryway access that leads directly to host living quarters so they can lock me out, but I had no way of attaining my own privacy. There is a flimsy door fold put in place of an actual door. There was notable "dust bunnies" located throughout the space.

Clean & Cozy

Modern, clean. I wonder about the Minnesota fire code. In WI, we have to have 2 exits from a basement bedroom. This had only one. The TV and fireplace were great! Add a coffeemaker? And regular pillows without the shams, as it would ruin the shams if they are washed every time.
