「Very nice hotel」

「Good option in the centre of Ya'an - very clean and modern hotel, room was very large and very comfortable. My view was over the back carpark but also onto local mountains, it was very quiet at night even with the window open. During my stay, the staff on duty didn't speak English but we made it work with translator apps eventually, just have a little patience. Breakfast buffet was also excellent with a nice selection of both Chinese and Western options. Would definitely recommend and stay...

「I booked a room for my girlfriend (she's Chinese) and we had an "online" trip together. Since it was her birthday, I called the hotel to ask if they could prepare something for her. The hotel staff went above and beyond what I had asked for. They decorated her room prepared a cake for her in the hours before her arrival. 「Aircon did not work properly. Probably just unlucky with the room we got. When we ordered our coffee they were out of milk so had to go to shops and brought our coffee to us just under a hour later. When I wanted to go to the bar to order a drink to take upstairs, they were closed at 1am. I asked reception if I could at least order a coffee but they said no. So much for the advertised 24 hour coffee. Breakfast was 25 RMB per person despite it advertising as included. They did not have a chef...
