The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. Breakfast was very good. I was disappointed as it was expensive and the little extras were missing, such as shower/bath gel on the wall were too high for use in the bath.

Great breakfast prepared by the owner with personalized choices. Lots of great info provided by the owners which helped us make choices for activities. Walkable to bus, local train and Dunster Castle. Our room was great with view of the Village. Will definitely stay again and do more in the Exmoor National Park as the Park Info Center is right in the town. Easy access to Minehead and start of the South West Coastal Path.

Lovely people running a lovely hotel serving excellent food. However - and this was self inflicted as all the information is given when booking -we were in one of the two 'small double' rooms and I missed the fact that the room hss a small double bed as well as being a small room! My mistake just be aware. I'd happily stay here again just in a bigger room. Dunster Castle is a short uphill walk away and well worth a visit. The West Somerset Railway is pretty close and also a very good trip.

Although the property was old and in need of some remediation it was a very pleasant stay and Lisa and John were perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for you. The property was dated but this was in keeping with its surroundings within a listed village. The food was extremely well cooked and presented and couldn’t be faulted. The room we had was clean and spacious with everything you could need. All in all a very nice stay.

Summer break.

The two night stay was absolutely brilliant, the hotel was lovely the owners could not do enough to make your stay as good as possible. The room we had was large and very comfortable and the food was second to none, breakfast and evening meals. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whose interested in visiting Dunster.
