Cozy little place in a beautiful neighborhood. Loved how close we were to the lakefront, beach, walking trails. Shirt drive to Kk with all the dining choices…
Great property - perfect for our summer Milwaukee weekend away! Convenient location, nice neighborhood, clean, and really, really comfortable inside! Host answered all of our questions quickly, and we would love to stay here again!
This is a very cute upper flat in a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood where you can walk to the lakefront and coffee shops. Folks are out walking dogs. Very safe and convenient location in lovely Bay View, close to the airport and freeway access.
Omar, the Host, is fantastic. He's very nice and communicative. He wants to ensure you have the best stay possible. The property is a bit larger than i anticipated from the pictures. That was s fun surprise. The neighborhood is quiet and is in a great location for access to the lake or Milwaukee pepper. I will definitely be staying again
The host was very hospitable and messaged us often to check in, which we really appreciated! This property was very cozy and had everything we needed during our trip. The check in and check out processes were both very simple. It had snowed a lot the night before we checked in and the host had shoveled the walkway we used to get in which was thoughtful! We appreciated the extra blankets and heaters since it was quite cold outside! There were a wide variety of dish ware which was also very convenient. The bed and couch were both pretty comfy. This vrbo wasn't too far from the bus stop which was very convenient! We plan to stay here again if we're in the area :) Thank you so much!
Omar’s house is one block from the house in which I grew up. So I spent little time other than overnights there, instead visiting friends and going to old haunts and fun areas in the city.
The bed was comfortable and the house provided what I needed. The living room couch was not so comfortable, so I used the dining room chairs instead.
Thanks for a nice place to stay, Omar!

My friend and I (25M and 25F) were in town for a convention and we stayed at "Mi casa es su casa" for three nights in total.Pros:-the location was great-street parking was easy and cheap (follow the directions of what the host recommends and fill out the form for street parking, it's not expensive)-good amount of space for the price pointCons:-the pictures of the vrbo on the listing are outdated by at least a year and the space in real life looks far more worn and in need of repair than the photos imply-one of the legs of the couch in the tv room is broken so anyone who sits on it will be uncomfortable. the listing says that this space sleeps three with the implication someone can sleep on the couch but it is practically impossible to get a good night's rest on the broken couch that shifts when you move-there is no light outside at night when you are walking to the backdoor from the street so if you don't have your phone flashlight, you will struggle making your way to the door of the vrbo if the sun is down-the temperature control of this space is bad with the only way of cooling/heating being opening a window or plugging in one of the heaters so you were always cold or hot-there are quiet hours listed from 8:00am-10:30pm but my friend and i were both woken up at 7:00am on saturday with loud noises below usOverall, we both had an okay stay but honestly I would recommend this space for only one person for a short period of time until they make some needed repairs
It was nice to be in a quaint neighborhood with unique houses all along a short walk to the beach at the lake. But also be so incredibly close to everything downtown. So great!
A lovely flat with vintage built in features and beveled glass doors. Great neighborhood with plenty of dog walkers. Felt very safe. Bay View area and close to the lake.
Comfortable and quiet. Pleasant neighborhood. Short walk to lovely park on the lake. Convenient to downtown attractions. Check-in was a breeze. Omar is kind and helpful.

The place was okay. It was an older house upstairs loft. Some older appliances and was nearby the airport so you will hear the planes every so often. I recommend bringing noise canceling sleep mask like I did. I will say it is a more affordable alternative than other places in the area.
Enjoyed two good weeks in late June in this 2nd floor apartment two blocks from Lake Michigan. Nicely equipped, we added a couple things in the kitchen(reimbursed by owner Omar), and generally enjoyed our visit. Visited family and friends, biked Lake Michigan shoreline, love the nearby Italian bakery, walked the St.Francis Seminary woods, love Usingers butcher shop, and great meal at St.Paul Fish Company.
Very good visit.
The property was as described. It is simple and quaint.
I grew up in home like this in a nearby neighborhood, so it was trip down memory lane. We would stay again for sure.
Three adults worked out fine in the space.
My only issue was that I had to get past a very aggressive pit bull to get in or out of the apartment. The owner had to get the dog out of the way just so I could get down the steps. I love dogs, but this is a problem.
Spacious apartment in a nice neighborhood. It’s an older building and in need of some updates. A few suggestions: in need of outside lighting for security at night. Several light bulbs missing inside. Stove and refrigerator need upkeep. Temperature in apartment needs regulation. Could use extra towels and blankets.
Omar is an excellent host. He checked in throughout the stay to see if we needed anything. He was also very responsive through the VRBO app when we did have questions. The property itself feels very much like you're being invited into someone's home. Not a new shiny hotel, but absolutely an enjoyable stay. There is a queen sized bed and a sofa bed to sleep on. Perfect for 2 people or a family of three. There are 3 window mounted AC units so each room can have their own temperature set.The stay is on the upper floor of the house. You have your own personal access through the side door of the house. Omar sets up a unique passcode for each booking so you can stay with confidence your belongings are secure, yet convenient to access. The neighborhood seems nice and quiet. There is only street parking available which requires registration with the city of Milwaukee. Omar helped walk us through the registration. There is also a limit of 3 free nights per month with Saturday night/Sunday mornings being free.I highly recommend this for short stays
If you're traveling to Milwaukee and looking for a place to relax, and enjoy the quiet laid back vibe, Omar has the the perfect place. Bay View is a quaint, yet active neighborhood. Will definitely be back.
