  • You can not get a better house ON THE LAKE to enjoy with family and friends!

    Sip your morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful sunrise from the front porch. This Classic Nautical Beach home has 4 bedroom, two full bath that has been completely updated with refinished hardwood floors, ceiling fans and period details throughout.

    There are plenty of sleeping arrangements with 4 bedrooms, 10 beds that sleep up to 15 guests. Owner has a second home on Lake 2 blocks away for larger group or other family members/friends to share in the fun!

    Cook great meals in the fully equipped kitchen or grill out, and dine in at the separate large dining room table. The living room has comfortable furniture, smart TV and WIFI throughout. There is additional Smart TV in lower with full sized washer and dryer.

    Just a short walk across the street to the beach, lake, concessions, set your eyes on one mile of shoreline at North Beach, voted cleanest beach in Wisconsin for 2004***. Life guards are on duty during the summer. The nearby Riverside, Pugh, and Reefpoint Marina makes this location water sport friendly. Bring your boat, jet ski or wave runner. There are 12 sand volleyball courts. The North Beach Oasis is a concession stand on the beach where you order tasty treats, adult beverages and you can hear live music on the weekends.

    Charter a boat for excellent salmon and trout fishing. Walk two blocks to the Racine Zoo. Walking and bike paths are right outside your front door. Kids will go crazy over the new two million dollar playground located on the beach and another in the zoo. Sample some of the fantastic nearby restaurants.

A cozy stay with a beautiful view

We have rented another of this owner's properties in the past, right on the lake, and appreciate the ease of communication and the homey feel of the property. As we went in the winter, we didn't take advantage of the BBQ or the outdoor spaces, but everything looked very fun!

Great place forgathering

This is our family's second stay when we needed to be in Racine for a family event. We love the generous living and dining rooms to gather in and the sunrises over the lake and beach are not to be missed. Convenient to the downtown. My family and I highly recommend.

Wonderful family reunion

This beach house is perfect for my children, their spouses, and my grandchildren. We love the view and easy access to the beach. The house is well -stocked with plenty of towels and everything else we needed for relaxing stay. This is our second year renting this place and we hope to come back again.

Delightful lakeside retreat

We stayed at Mike's beachfront house in April for a writing retreat and loved the location! We particularly appreciated the enclosed porch, the view of the lake, and the spacious living and dining room. There was more than enough room for the 5 of us, and we also enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake. We're already planning on coming back for our fall retreat!

Lots to do

Enjoyed the local food--especially kringles and cheeses. Was beautiful fall weather with fantastic fall colors everywhere and loved the pumpkin walk at night at the zoo. Lots of things to do and convenient to get together with other family who lived in Illinois and Wisconsin. The view was enjoyed by all. Thank you for your hospitality.

Family get together

When we arrived at the property, we were graded by the property managers son was very helpful in the process explaining what was going on with the city water construction construction that was happening when we arrive. Overall, everything was perfect have no complaints. We really enjoyed staying at the property. The views were spectacular and we plan on coming again, thank you so much.

Wonderful home. Wonderful location.

We had a large group stay here for a family reunion and everyone was comfortable. The first floor bedroom and first floor bathroom were great for someone who can’t do a lot of stairs. The furniture was comfortable and the air conditioning kept the house nice and cool when needed. Outdoor spaces were terrific, we really enjoyed using the deck and the backyard with the fire pit. We will definitely come back if we can.

New Years Celebration

13 family members, ages 9 to 54, convened at the Beach House for a holiday reunion. They appreciated the original wood finishes and beach artifacts throughout the house and particularly the great view of and proximity to Racine's famous North Beach right across the street. In fact, 8 members of the group participated in the annual New Year's Day Splash & Dash into Lake Michigan!Host Mike was very welcoming and easily available from beginning to end of the stay, with ongoing inquiries to insure the comfort of his guests.

Fabulous lake views!

Our stay at this North Beach home was very nice. Mike (owner) is quick to answer any questions. This home welcomed us, at a time when we came to town as a family for a funeral. Beds were comfy. Our daughter was worried because she forgot to iron her dress. We opened up a closet and there was an iron/ironing board and a steamer. Modern kitchen appliances. Everything you could need. But the views! The moon over the lake was stunning! We all decided a polar plunge into the lake, in honor of our loved one who passed, was needed. So in the lake we went, on a cold December evening. Good, good stuff! Highly recommend this unique home.

Lake side retreat

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our four grown children, their spouses, and our four grandchildren. We wanted two separate house near each other by Lake Michigan. This was the house where the two couples with kids, ages 5,4,3 & 2 stayed. It was set up great for kids with a fenced in backyard and plenty of outdoor toys and indoor games. Right across the street and down a hill is a wonderful playground and North Beach. The location was perfect. We were back and forth to the beach and park every day, and it was so convenient. The house has beautiful oak woodwork and craftsman charm. It was helpful to have a bathroom on the main floor. Lots of flexible sleeping options for families with kids. And a fresh Kringle awaited us in the refrigerator when we arrived. Everyone had a great time at this lovely property.

Stellar property in a great location

This is a great house in an excellent location. Walkable to the beach, just across the street. Mike, the host, was attentive even before our trip. For example, he let me know about events happening in Racine the weekend we were coming months before our trip. The house itself is beautiful. Very beachy, by design. Great bedrooms- enough space and setup for two families each with two small children. Lots of beds. The house is also well stocked with plenty of extra supplies and kitchen equipment. There are two dining room tables, which was necessary with several people staying in the same house. Nice porches (covered and outdoor) to enjoy the sunrise over the lake. You can tell the hosts stay there themselves to understand the needs of their house guests- great attention to detail. The backyard is great, equipped with a table, fire pit, and marshmallow roasting sticks for s'mores. We are thankful for Mike's home and would love to come back.
