"Excellent location, near the museum and gardens. Nice breakfast with lots of choices. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly and helpful staff. If I could have had anything else to add, it would be a comfortable reading chair and lamp, in which case I would have been tempted to stay forever!"

"Everything met and exceeded our expectations. The check in was not an issue, as we got the code to let ourselves into the hotel and into our room an hour before our arrival, and there was no human contact involved or needed. The room was clean and well appointed, the balcony had a table and two chairs, and it was facing the endless qiet greenery. The bathroom was modern and spotless, there was a kitchenette and the bed was very comfortable and cozy. There was an extra blanket and three sets of pillows. The free breakfast was sufficient and again,no humans envolved.Everything was just magicallyset up, including the fresh flowers on the tables in the common area downstairs. The area is also beautiful and has rich civil war history. The hotel is located right next to where the Brandywine battle ended. It is also very close to the town of West Chester with all the restaurants and beautiful historic downtown and the University."

"The refrigerator in our room didn’t work, the TV never turned on, our room keys kept not working and the bed linens could be replaced with newer and better fitting. But the room was large, spacious and comfortable and the employees were very nice and helpful. We liked the deck out back with rocking chairs to sit on.. would’ve loved to have used the hot tub, but it closed too early for us, so we never did take advantage of it. All in all, it was a nice stay, but definitely some things could be improved upon!"

"The employees were just the nicest! The place was adorable. And the atmosphere was relaxing, calming, and fun. We really enjoyed it there. Even walking around looking ant all the cabooses and feeding the animals. Just hanging out. A beautiful place!"

"Great experience, staff was helpful and friendly. Would be helpful and useful if front desk had a small tool kit. I needed a pair of small pliers for a small task, and front desk couldnt help. resolved issue on own. But just a smal kit would have been helpful."

"Mostly clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, but we didn't have towels or hand soap for the sink. Trying to get towels was a chore. I had to flag down a housekeeper just to get towels. The breakfast was terrible. Virtually no protein. 3/5 stars not the worst, but for that price keep looking around."

"The breakfast was excellent with lots of options and healthy ones as well. Our room was nice, bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower were nice. . Our only complaint was the hot tub and indoor pool were under maintenance and not available to use. We purposely booked this hotel for the hot tub. My husband is recovering from surgeries and we thought it would be theraputic for him. We booked our stay with Expedia and there was no mention of the hot tub being unavailable. Had we known we would have stayed elsewhere with a hot tub. We made the best out of our stay. The location is perfect for going to Longwood Gardens and short drive to Winterthur Museum and Gardens. "
