"Lovely hotel. Spacious very clean. Fantastic delicious breakfast. Helpful happy staff. We didn’t use it but kitchenette is a great added amenity for guests. Located on edge of cbd by the River Avon . Close to Christchurch art museum area."

"This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful ambiance and gardens and friendly helpful staff. My main issue is with the air conditioning as the room was way too hot and even turning the knob to the coldest possible position still produces heating, just less. They said their default heating level was 26’C!!! The only way to get cool was to open the window, and in my room the window didn’t open far enough. So if you like a cool room, it might be a challenge! "

"Room we were kindly upgraded to upon arrival was clean & well presented. Bed was very comfortable and hotel location was excellent in the centre of the city. Note: there's no onsite parking, however the hotel has a $10 parking deal available at a local Wilsons Multistory carpark (just need to ask at reception). Staff in the rooftop bar were also very friendly. Would definitely stay here again."

"Generally good. room was spacious. The guy at reception was super helpful and gave us some free brownie, which was delicious thanks! Room smelt a bit damp, although it was a cool evening and the windows were open. Bathroom could do with a paint job but otherwise beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would book again."
