beautiful location about 7 minutes from falling water. perfect for our get together. make sure you get supplies beforehand as there is not much around there. it ended up too cold to enjoy the fire pit outside so we enjoyed the electric fireplace instead! great communication with hosts made the stay easy!
The house was fantastic and mountain air refreshing. Ohiopyle white water rafting was great and many nice golf courses within 25 to 30 miles. Property Manager was very helpful during our stay and even added additional channels to the TV package at our request. We stayed the entire month of August and overall rating is definitely 5 stars.
The property is very peaceful and quiet. House was comfortable with open concept living room, dining area & kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of pots/pans, dishes, utensils, paper products, essential spices & oil. The only problem we had was slow WiFi connection & spotty cell signal. But I think this is the case for the whole area.
Proximity to Fallingwater, the reason for our visit, was a real bonus. Ohiopyle close by was a very nice surprise. We enjoyed and made great use of the fire pit and gas grill.
A superb property. Very clean and exceptionally well supplied. Kitchen is well stocked . The owners provide paper products and dish soaps, which is helpful. Location is about a 16 minute drive from Confluence in 10 minutes to Ohio Pyle. The view is amazing from the back patio, very relaxing and serene. The gas fireplace is a nice touch. I would highly recommend this property.
A very nice place on a large piece of land, with a nice view of the mountains. Within spitting distance of Falling Water, and close to hiking, rafting, kayaking and fishing. The house has wifi and even cell service (which is unusual for the area, and could be a positive or a negative depending on how much you want to get away from it all). Ohiopyle is about 4 miles away, but it's best to bring your own groceries if you plan to cook -- the area really is an escape from city life. Pet friendly! We had a great time!

Property was as described, but we were not able to get up the long driveway due to the snow. Driveway was not cleared or salted. We were there for a ski trip at Seven Springs, which is every bit of 35 minutes away. Pros: House is well-stocked with items you would need, especially kitchen. cons: owners are not super responsive. Not as close to ski resort as hoped.
This home is a great place to visit the area. The house sits high up a hillside and gets cooling breezes due to its location. There's lots of open space and great views of the surrounding Laurel Highlands. Everything in the house worked well. The location is what makes it particularly nice. You're only a 5-10 minute drive from Fallingwater, Bear Creek nature preserve, Ohiopyle State Park and the GAP rail trail so there's plenty to do close by. The road to the house is steep but paved and well maintained so you won't have any trouble getting there. All in all, a really nice place to visit.
The house is beautiful. The property is fantastic. We unfortunately had rain and really couldn't use the outdoors much. I did wish the master had a TV. We made due with our iPad, but a TV would've been nice. Of course, we weren't there really to hang around the house to much. We were out enjoying God's creation. Already possibly planning another trip, and will definitely try to stay at this property again!
The house was very clean when we arrived, a bit sparse but enough for us to be comfortable. Plenty of dishes and glasses, pots, pans. Could use some serving platters and bowls. Communication with the host was smooth and entrance into the house was easy. The area is beautiful. There are gorgeous views from the backyard and at night tons of stars in the sky. My teens were less than happy with no WiFi service but they survived. They loved the tire swing! Even though the location was pretty remote it was so close to Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and less than 10 minutes from “downtown” Ohiopyle. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Paula

The Mill Run house was spacious and exceptionally clean. It was conveniently located near my husband’s bucket list wish to visit Fallingwater and the other Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes in the area. We highly recommend the Mill Run house to everyone visiting the Laurel Highlands.
Last week 4 of us stayed two nights in this house and we were very impressed. The furnishings and kitchenware are beautiful, the house was immaculate, and Donna was responsive and very helpful when I asked a question. Very convenient to Kentuck Knob, Fallingwater, and the French and Indian War sites. Also, the house is on a large country property and every window had a pretty view. The patio area looked great, too, but we did not use it. If we returned to the area we would definitely stay here again.
We had a delightful stay in the Laurel Highlands. This property is centrally located and was a great starting point for touring the area. The house is beautiful and well kept with all the necessary amenities for our home away from home. I highly recommend booking this home on your next visit to the Laurel Highlands!
Place was above and beyond! The area was so quiet and the night time was full of stars. It was amazing. We had a wonderful time with the family. Thanks so your sharing your lovely home
