"The room had clean sheets but the top throw had holes in it and didn’t look that clean. The tap was hanging off the sink in the room.There was only 1 of 4 toilets working on our floor the others were locked off. The toilet that was working had a very dirty floor and there was no sink or soap anywhere to was your hands. I decided that showering was not an option as that was dirty too. "We had an overnight stay here on our way back to Calais. Electric car charging point available, although only 1 so we were lucky to get it! Slow charging so ideal as we left it overnight to be fully charged. Beautiful setting right on the Seine. We had a standard room which was perfectly good for 1 night: air con, big walk in shower, tea and coffee facilities (though take English tea bags if you like English tea!). We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the staff were lovely. Breakfast the next day was delicious. Very good value and we would def stay here again if on our way to Calais."

"Lovely room, very comfy bed, loved the balcony overlooking the bridge and the river. We had the breakfast which was good value - nice it was served on a tray, we could take to our room or we decided to have it outside. We'd have liked some seats here and there in the island to sit by the river."

"We had a lovely warm welcome from the lady at reception. Our room was great for a short overnight stop on a long road trip. Very helpful to have the parking right out front and to be able to have our dog with us. There is an Aldi supermarket right next door which was very helpful for food and drinks although the restaurant of the hotel had a good menu and reasonably priced options too."

"Overall a good stay- I diligently look at reviews before booking hotels and so I feel it’s important to provide detailed reviews myself. As you probably know, 4 star hotels in Europe are not actually 4 stars. I already know that so I manage my expectations. The positives of this hotel for our four night stay: close to train station, king sized very comfortable bed and pillows, room was very clean and comfortable. The negatives for us: no coffee maker in room. They only provide a kettle and 2 packs of instant coffee. There is no mini fridge, despite advertising a fridge. There is, as described to me by the front staff, a drinks fridge in the room that is not meant to keep things cold. What does that even mean? When you’re on a long trip like us, a small fridge for us to store juice and yoghurt makes a big difference. At this price point, it should be expected. Staff were indifferent, sometimes friendly, other times not."
