「Before staying at this hotel I called and asked if the hot tub was working, I then made a reservation. The place sounded great, but it wasn't . I showed up and before checking in asked again is the hot tube working. I was told yes. Two hours later I found out it didn't work and hadn't for some time. The pool, kid's pool and hot tub were all filthy, with scum on their walls. The only emergency exit from the pool area, sealed closed with layers of ice. The fitness room consist of an old treadmill....

「House is very cute and easy to locate. The steep stairs were fine for our group, but could be problematic for those requiring assistance. It was physically clean, however the host was using a plethora of auto air fresheners to mask residual odors which bothered those with chemical sensitivity. Kitchen was sub par as far as cooking/dining equipment, which is fine if you're eating out and don't plan to cook/reheat food. 「We needed to make an unexpected visit to the Catskills. Finding The Hidden Inn was an unexpected and delightful surprise. We were greeted by the owner who was friendly and helpful. Our room -the sunshine room - was pleasant and well appointed. Breakfast was available and easily accessible. And for hiker, the rail trail is right outside the backdoor.」
