"It’s an older hotel, not located anywhere convenient or near major sightseeing spots, but quite nice. Hardly any foreign tourists when I stayed, so if you want to experience the good old Japan (that is becoming increasingly difficult to find), here is the excellent option."

"First time glamping, and it was great! Pugi, the camp attendant, gave excellent service with a smile. Our yurt was comfy, dinner and breakfast were delicious: much better than expected. It’s convenient for Mt Tsukuba hiking or Ropeway. Highly recommend this place. "

If you are staying more than 2 days get a rental car. The hotel is very good at what it does, which is provide a relaxing atmosphere with an accessible onsen. The dinner is a set menu of classical Japanese fare, which after the second day becomes a bit tiresome, but doable. They also offered a bonus meal at 9pm of...

While it was unfortunate that it rained during our stay, the scenery from the bath was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vibrant greenery. The room was spacious and elegantly designed with a traditional Japanese feel. The meals were delicious, and the staff provided exceptionally polite and attentive service. Located in the mountains, the hotel offered a peaceful setting where we could truly connect with nature. It was a wonderful getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
