"We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor. The hotel lobby is beachy, relaxing, and decorated with fun, whimsical art, plus at least 6 Christmas trees for the holidays. I loved the calm library room and enjoyed the gym. My husband had a very nice massage at the spa and said it was the most relaxed he'd been in a while. :-) It's great being able to walk across the street to the beach, the boardwalk, and the pier, plus the cool restaurants and bars on Mission Ave. It's also a very short drive to some great restaurants in downtown Carlsbad. We didn't have our kids with us, but they also have a kids play room, a pool table in the commons area, and a nice pool with jacuzzi. It's clean, beautiful, and the staff was all very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!! "

"The service is always the best here. Stayed here for a golf getaway with my buddies and really enjoyed myself. Loved both courses; but the North is by far the better course. The rooms have been updated and are amazing. Looking forward to my next visit. "

"Room was renovated and clean. Bed and bedding were great. The bathroom door was super hard to open and close. Bathrooms need some renovation but overall good hotel. Proximity to Torrey Pines is priceless. Staff was super nice and helpful. "
