「建物自体は古いですが、とてもきれいにメンテナンスされています。部屋ごとに異なるインテリアは、どれも素敵でした。部屋は広々としていて、裏庭をのぞむ窓際は絵になる風景です。周りは森で、とても静かでした。シャワーブースと浴槽が別々になっていて、とても使いやすかったです。2部屋のうち、1部屋には浴室にテレビもありました。夕食はコースディナーを食べました。ホテルの農園で取れた食材が美しく盛りつけられ、とてもおいしかったです。食事前と食事後は、ラウンジで飲み物をいただきました。雰囲気がよく、大満足です。イギリスには珍しく、部屋に湯沸かしポットと紅茶などのティーバッグがありませんでした。ラウンジで自由に飲めるようでしたが、できれば自分の部屋で好きなときに飲めるといいなと思います。ホテルのスタッフはとても紳士的な振る舞いで快適でした。イギリスらしい雰囲気を十分に楽しめる、すばらしいホテルだと思います。」

「All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy. If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as...

「We enjoyed the stay. Lovely pool and sauna. Very quiet, beautiful views from balcony. Complementary bikes so we had a nice bike ride around the bay. A bit disappointed with the service in the bar and restaurant, long wait for a pint and and overcooked poached eggs for breakfast which supposed to be made to order as from a la carte menu. Overall great stay and we will be back. 」
