The kitchen was more than stocked with all of the supplies we needed. The house was immaculate and very well taken care of. The neighborhood amenities kept all of us well entertained and we barely left the neighborhood. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

Everyone enjoyed having a golf cart. We spent lots of time using the amenities and ate lots of ice cream. Just wanted to mention the hand rails going upstairs were loose and wished the cushions on the porch furniture had Velcro as the cushions would not stay in place. We love Beachwalk and will be back.

Reviewer Comments: Lots of memories made during our week at ONE BIG HOLIDAY (Beachwalk Resort).Porch/Family Room/Kitchen area was terrific for meals, family games, cocktail hours, etc.The unit was well stocked. Bedrooms and bathrooms worked out well for our gang of toddlers to grandparents.Not much "green space" around Big Holiday (or any of the units). But we loved the quiet back in this area of the Resort... And so easy to get to Clubhouse, Pool, Lake, etc., either walking or via cart.We loved "staying in", but access is simple to not only Michigan City, but also New Buffalo, Three Oaks, and other fun beach or tourist towns.Only setback of note was Lake Kai being off limits to swimming... But that was no big deal.Just an overall great experience. Felt like we were in our own little world - What a good vacation should feel like!

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were very pleased with the house and resort, but there are some suggestions for making the house experience even better: 1.Chairs in dining area should have felt tips on their bottoms or a rug should be under the dining table area. The noise travels downstairs and is disturbing there. 2. There should be a full length mirror somewhere. 3. Better job of vacuuming in the bedroom with the trundle bed- lots of dust present when pull out the bed. Also in that room- would benefit from more storage space- i.e. shelves or drawers and another flat surface and overhead light- light switches did not turn on the ceiling light 4. Drain in the upstairs bathtub not working well when the bath faucet is on.

We comfortably slept 4 families (10 adults and 4 children) and we loved the screened back porch for hanging out together. The kitchen was well stocked with the items we needed for cooking. The only down side would be how close together the houses were and the parking was pretty tight. We had 5 cars and only two spots at the house, so we had to juggle cars at check in and checkout and taxi each other to the over flow lot. The golf cart came in very handy for getting around the resort.

Lovely vacation spot

It was a nice location for a girls weekend with pool and a beach. Clean and updated house with enough from for the eight of us to stay in a girls weekend . The only suggestion would be to increase the pool size.

Did Not Disappoint

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our entire family (including teenagers and a 9 month old) coexisted perfectly in this beautiful house. The community was well equipped to keep them busy (parks,kayaking, basketball, pool - although sadly the pool was closed 2 out of our 6 days due to unmentionable incidents) It's a bit of a trek to the beach, but we rented an additional golf cart for the week which helped! The parking situation is a bit tricky, but it all worked out (do not pull your car into the sanded lot adjacent to the house!one of our guests had to get towed out). Floors in the home were very dirty and there were wifi issues...both of which can be addressed for sure. All in all, One Big Holiday was the ideal setting for a week away! And we are already talking about revisiting next year.

Fantastic family vacation spot

We spent the week at One Big Holiday during our first vacation on Lake Michigan. This house is amazing. It's beautiful and incredibly functional, with all the kitchen tools you could need. The community staff are friendly and the beach access cannot be beat. We highly recommend One Big Holiday and Beachwalk Resort.

The layout of the home is absolutely perfect for gathering together and enjoying each other. The main floor is a completely open floor plan and there was never a moment that any of us felt left out or secluded because there was enough room for us to always be together. It felt like a home away from home and I would love to recreate the trip again in the future. Amazing value for what you pay also.. Unbeatable experience. <3

One Big Holiday was just that! Wonderful floorplan, great decor, and especially welcoming.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! We built puzzles at the table, had a fire burning while watching football and of course enjoyed walks to Lake Michigan. Beachwalk never disappoints! We will be back.
