Our family of eight flew in for a wedding in our old hometown of Metamora—three couples and two singles, ranging in age from 18 to 54. The home was the perfect base for our stay. Tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and backing up to a golf course, the setting offered both privacy and scenic views.There were comfortable bedrooms for all of us and plenty of space to gather, whether around the kitchen table, out on the patio, or in the game area where the kids enjoyed ping pong, foosball, and a puzzle. The location was incredibly convenient—just minutes from the grocery store, which made it easy to stock up for breakfast and snacks.Though we didn’t have time to squeeze in a round of golf, the course was right there and would’ve been an easy add. The home itself is a well-maintained, higher-end Midwestern single-family home with quality finishes—a true slice of Midwest living.Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable, convenient stay in the area.

Holiday Visit

Second year staying here and. again, the property meets and exceeds our needs. Greg's place is a great home base to gather our various family's together from throughout the country for our traditional holiday visit home to Metamora. Being adjacent to the Golf Course I can imagine this would be a great spot for a golf retreat. We will be back next year!

Great house to have your own space.

We loved how each floor had bedrooms, bathrooms, and gathering areas. The open main floor was great for serving meals, watching football, and being a part of conversations. The lower level has a great bar, tv viewing area, ping pong and foosball. So fun.

Another Great Stay

We come here annually for a golf trip. Perfectly located house right next to Metamora Fields. Highly recommended for a similar trip. The host is very responsive and communicative. We’ll certainly be back!

Home for the holiday

This was the first year since mom moved out of the family home in Metamora to a retirement cottage. This meant the family needed a big house for the siblings to stay for our Christmas activities. The house was perfect! Lots of room for three families to eat sleep and share a wonderful four days. Highlights include the great room for gatherings and the downstairs for ping pong and foosball. Terrific kitchen and wonderful neighborhood. Right on the golf course! We will be back.

Perfect Family Gathering Space

If we could build a place for our family and my sister's family to live, it would look just like this house. Everything is so beautiful, modern, and funtional. We could park in the garage and blend in to the nice and quiet neighborhood. I also enjoyed seeing the sunrise over the golf course. We've stayed here before and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Golf Tournament

Our family was in town for a golf tournament and this house was perfect for our needs. We do a lot of traveling and this was by far one of the nicest stays we’ve had. I would highly recommend. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful property!

Great location and beautiful home! My family enjoyed the space to be able to have fun as if we were still at home. Close to town and Peoria was just down the road. Will definitely stay again.

A place for the whole family

Our family had a wonderful stay at this Metamora house. We were within walking distance of a great park with miles of trails, on the golf course, and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is stocked, the wi-fi is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of space and seating to spend time with everyone or get some work done in a quiet corner.

Great Place

We did a weekend guy's golf trip and the house worked perfectly. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We were able to hang out upstairs around the tv or downstairs around the bar. Fantastic House.
