Si tuvieran un colchon decente... no excelente, no muy bueno, ni siquiera bueno... tan siquiera desente... el lugar estaria excelente... el colchon dejo mucho que desear. Pero aun asi en general el hotel esta muy bien. Excelente ubicacion, instalaciones muy buenas, el personal muy bien tambien. Solo inviertan un poco en colchones y entonces si, todo perfecto. Muy recomendable.

It helps to know spanish

I booked a single individual room and when I arrived they tried to trick me telling me it was actually a dorm but when they found out I knew spanish very well they decided to respect my single individual room reservation. It was only one night so it wasn't "convenient" for them but I am so thankfull they decided to respect my reservation and the young girl was nice but her mom gave me a look so horrific I would never look her way again.

Best 1st experience ever!!

My experience at Hostal La Ermita was great! The thing that surprised me the most was the freshly cut fruit every morning. The staff members were very friendly. I would go back if I ever decided to visit Merida again. My first experience staying in a hostel couldn't have been any better.

Clean hostel and friendly staff

At least 15 min walk from city center. Plugs next to beds, they however are mostly unreachable, exactly at mattress level...Although there is a lot of space, common kitchen is tiny. Nevertheless, staff is friendly and the hostel is clean.

Nice place

+ Very nice place, big room with good ventilation. Super clean. Friendly staff. - a little far from downtown (30 min walk). Staff only speak Spanish. No kitchen, not even fridge or microwave.
