"Such a perfect stay returning back to my home town for a visit. So nostalgic! Loved the downtown and all it had to offer, and the location and quality of the El Capitan Hotel. Will definitely stay here again!"

"This property has only been open a few months. It id brand new. They are still working on a few things - the water pressure in my shower was low and was scheduled to be adjusted the day I left. The staff was excellent. I didn’t try the onsite restaurant, but it is nice that there is one available."

"Well I hope you read now so a motorcycle across from our room back of motel 6 He’s stalking us for over 90 minutes can’t tell if he’s a cop or what but I have pictures of him with a special camera inside of my car. You should send sheriff dept asap My friend Charlie you could have a gun cuz his motorcycle on now, he’s opposite him now, but someone above in the crawl space keep making noise crawling around us here. "

"We have stayed at this property in the past because of its location, but likely will not stay again. On checkin, our room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. We were offered another room, but it would not be on the first floor, which was necessary for mobility issues. Also, we had been driving for nearly 15 hours, so just wanted to get some rest. We also were not able to get ice because both machines to which we were directed were not working - no ice! So, I had to walk to a nearby truck stop (Love's) to purchase ice ($2.99 + tax). We did not go to the breakfast "buffet," so I can't comment on that. But overall, the property - especially the area surrounding the pool - seemed poorly maintained. Consequently, I will not stay there again, and would not recommend this property to other travelers."
