"Our room was super clean and well equipped. We booked a studio room for 3 adults but found it a little on the small size for us, however we managed. What can i say about the staff...absolutely fabulous and just couldnt do enough to help. Made our trip so much easier "

"Great location with great view from the top of the hill. Professional staff who are eager to please. A great restaurant with fresh foods (15%) discount for those who stay at the hotel. Few steps from the Malta’s only shelter during the 2nd world war (worth visiting). "

"The room was large and quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable and enormous and there was also a comfy settee from which we could watch tv. It had a nice balcony looking down to the sea. Excellent breakfast."

"Room small but clean, bed comfortable, shower hot, room service everyday. Facilities very good(although outdoor pool very cold, it was February and a few pieces of equipment in the gym didn't work). Drinks reasonable(2 for 1 cocktails between 1800 - 2030). Didn't eat food in hotel, so can't give recommendations(although it did look a little pricey). No entertainment. Would definitely go back for 2/3/4 nights stay but not any longer as not a lot to do in the surrounding area which is set on a hill.The hotel is built over 2 buildings, but once you get used to the lifts, its fair easy to get around. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Room was spacious and comfortable, but the kitchenette was tiny... a bit more bench space would be good. No tea or coffee supplied, but it was good to have the facility to cook if we didn't feel like eating out. Shower was excellent, wi-fi was good, staff were very accommodating. Location one street back from the foreshore, walking distance to many restaurants and the beach."

"Great 5 days stay at Villa Lys apartments. Good location with great spar shop 10 mins walk up road and great bar Billy’s next door. Lovely restaurants further on. Pool area lovely with plenty sun loungers. Great balcony with view of pool and surrounding areas. Kitchen good size. Not many utensils but we ate out for tea most nights so not an issue. No bottle opener or hair dryer in apartment but when I asked the owner they delivered both to me. Good location for rest of island with bus stop across from spar but we regularly used Bolt taxi service as there was 4 of us. The owner kindly booked us a taxi from airport and it was there waiting and a reasonable price so we booked the return also. Owner very knowledgable about the local area and the island and even offered to run us into Mellieha bay one night. Local food great. Would highly recommend Nora’s in Mellieha Bay. Would stay again if we come back to Malta. Thank you for a lovely stay "
