"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). Supermarkt und Tankstelle sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Frisches Gebäck haben wir bei den Bäckern in Pontorson bekommen. Egal wo, die Leute waren immer super freundlich :-). Lediglich die Küche führt zu Abzügen in der Bewertung. Der Kühlschrank war schmutzig. Es gab nur einen größeren Topf (eigentlich für...

"We had a great stay and fantastic weather. Katia, the owner, was really welcoming and really made us feel at home. The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area. It's an ideal base for exploring the Normandy sights or riding bikes in the quiet lanes."

"We had a lovely stay. Hilaire was the perfect host! Just the right size of Home for our family and outstanding for children. Our host even let the kids collect their own eggs from his chickens! "Lorsque nous sommes arrives au gite, si l’environnement et l’accueil sont agreables, le gite est plus que decevant; la 1ère piece cense servir de salon ou piece de jeu sent l’humidité à cause d’une fuite Erable le toit, impossible de se debarasser de l’odeur tt au long du we. Dans la piece principale cuisine, sejour une odeur d’egouts de canalisations défectueuses, apres avoir aere pdt 2 a 3h l’odeur s’est attenue mais trjrs sous-jacente, ce qui est tres agreable pour manger... enfin 1/2...

"My wife and I stayed one night at the hotel as we wanted to experience Mont St Michael in the abbey. Hotel parking is offsite. Do not forget to get a code from the hotel as guest overnight parking requires a code to enter. Also be prepared to pay for your parking and will need to have your ticket to exit. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and very good. We had dinner at their restaurant and thought it was great. Have the front desk make reservations for you. The room had a window to the street with a beautiful view of the water but was loud in the morning as vendors on forklifts were bringing supply’s into the Abbey. The bed mattress was not the most comfortable but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Overall, if you want to spend the night on the Abbey this hotel is a good choice."

"Perfect location for visiting Mont St Michel with the shuttle bus stopping right in front of hotel. Alternately you can enjoy the walk, approx 30 min with lovely views. Family of four, stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in shower. Surroundings are peaceful and quiet, just sounds of birds so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast is an excellent value and I’d highly recommend it. I’d stay here again if we come back for another visit "
