Overall we were very happy with this apartment. Hard to find faults with the apartment itself, clean and had all the amenities, however we found it noisy at night. Police/ambulance sirens and train noice regularly, had to use ear plugs to get to sleep. Staff very helpful and loads of restaurants, although expensive, around. Would recommend this apartment for short stays

We booked this property very last minute when we found out that the apartment we had reserved months in advance had been double booked, leaving us scrambling to find somewhere else to go in Melbourne. Easy booking though Expedia and then contact with James, saved the day. We got our check in instructions and met James at the apartment to go through further details. This property was one of the best stocked rental apartments we've ever stayed in. Whatever you need in the kitchen, it's there - nice wine glasses, cheese grater, plastic cutting boards, a small grill/press, plastic food storage containers, and literally everything else that we needed for our one week stay. The towels and bedding were both spotless and comfortable, and so was the king bed. The building had great amenities, pool, gym, outdoor BBQ and eating spaces, and the location is perfect. We would book with Platinum Apartments again in a heartbeat.
