The house showcases lots of history, recycled and salvaged materials such as 'Dockland Wharf’ timber post and beam structure, The ‘Eureka Tower’ glazing for windows, and remanent bluestones from the old ‘Aqueduct’ that ran into nearby Reservoir.

The Family have been busy over the past 3 years building this master project; basing themselves on natural and healthy building principles and energy efficiency. Exclusively salvaged and recycled materials have been used with an emphasis on thermal performance and comfort.
The project hasn’t quite finished with an upper level to complete, but the area on offer is perfect to ensure you have a relaxed and comfortable stay. Please be aware only have the ground floor available for now.

This place is so cool and really well-equipped for a group stay. We had a great weekend, basing ourselves in Preston to explore the surrounding suburbs. I could’ve happily spent a rainy weekend indoors enjoying the quirky mud bricks, modern facilities, thoughtful inclusions and well equipped kitchen.
