Staff here were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is great for city and docklands access, also right next to the train station. Handy licenced bar in the foyer. We didn't take advantage of the dining experience, so can't comment on that.

Our one bedroom apartment was very roomy with a very comfortable bed. Location was excellent for us across the road to Southern Station and places to eat. Discount breakfast (when booked day before) was hot buffet style and very good. Carpet in some corridors is getting old and stretched.

Would be better if rooms were cleaned prior to 3-3:30pm as when out for most of the day we expected to come back to a serviced room. Instead we often had to leave again so cleaners could have access. We were missed Saturday when seems someone may have turned our sign from ‘please make up my room’ to ‘do not disturb’, and then next day Sunday apparently they only clean on request. Would have been helpful to know that in advance. Otherwise stay was fine. Staff friendly. Great location.
