Clean and comfy and QUIET. The bed was great. The microwave was older but worked great. Fridge was new. The property is a bit drab on the outside but the interiors were modern and well kept. Not a lot of frills but a good value for sure.

This is a very "basic" place to stay, which is how it is offered. That's OK. My complaints are that the bed was fairly used - one is in a kind of trough in the sleeping position - and the bedding, while clean, was plastic-feeling and the lower fitted sheet tended to pop off the mattress. I didn't like waking up with part of me on the mattress pad in a motel, if you know what I mean. But if you are less-picky, this is one of the few less-expensive places to stay around Ashland, the desk help is friendly, and you will be in walking distance to a great breakfast restaurant (Morning Glory Cafe).

Was there to pick up my daughter from SOU. Location is good. Place is clean, though nothing special. Fine for an overnight stay with no plans to do anything in the room except sleep.

Great location near the SOU campus featuring clean, convenient accommodations, helpful staff, and a few minor quirks. The rooms are spotless, the pool is great, and having laundry facilities is very convenient. However, the A/C is loud, the bathroom layout is quite tight, and the shower needs better lighting. Note that there is no ice machine or water refilling station, and the advertised "garden" is just a basic grassy area with trees which has a potential to become a peaceful garden for guests to use. Location-wise, it is tough to beat—right next door to The Morning Glory Cafe (Thursday–Monday) and just a short drive from local restaurants, Safeway, the Ashland Co-Op and downtown.

Always enjoy staying here. Always parking. Easy to walk to our favorite breakfast spot - Mornjng Glory. Rooms are clean. It is quiet. Not walking distance to downtown but right next to campus.

The floor wasn't swept from previous guests, cheap power strips hanging from outlets, Keurig was broke and soap dispensers barely eked out any soap. On the positive, easy parking, comfy enough beds, clean towels, good hot water pressure and cheap.

This was my sixth motel stay in seven days of road tripping and it was a delightful surprise. The exterior is quite modest - sort of a dated Route 66 vibe - but my room was bright and modern, with bamboo floors and a beautiful stone-tiled shower. It was 98 degrees in Ashland but the small AC unit performed extremely well and the room was cool and very comfortable. All the amenities I needed (microwave, fridge and especially blow dryer) were there. Of all my motel stays on this trip, including at some of the big-name chains, I had the very best night's sleep at the Ashland Inn. Would definitely stay here again!

It's a cute little motel, but the room was a bit too small for two beds. The door hit the bed when entering the room. The design of the room is updated and nice. The exterior needs some work.

Nicest shower in a budget friendly motel I’ve ever experienced! I had a great stay: texts from motel staff before and after check in, easy check in, friendly staff, clean room, nice bed with actual comforter, furniture and room didn’t feel sterile. Don’t let the exterior fool you, the rooms are nice. Highly recommend!
