Cute Lakefront Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The small trailer was perfect for the two of us and very clean and well stocked with essentials that most places do not provide like toilet paper and paper towels and even coffee filters. It was very quiet and peaceful there and you could set at the picnic table and drink your coffee and watch the fish jump lol. The only downside was the cell service wasn’t the best but I did connect to the WiFi there and that helped. But other than that it was great and we will be going back. Mike was very nice and polite when we spoke on the phone. Next time we will have to figure out where to put in a boat lol we brought our canoe on this trip but was unable to put it in because of the weather. But yes if you’re looking for a break I highly recommend this place it’s a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. "
Clarion Pointe on the lake Clarksville-South Hill West
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed here to get to know the town of Clarksville. I had read an article in Southern Living magazine about the 18 best lake towns in the South. Clarksville, for sure is one of them. With all of the wonderful shops and eateries along Virginia Avenue there was plenty to see and do. I just wish I had time to get out on the water. I liked it so much that I signed a 1 year rental agreement. If you like to golf, fish and eat well this is a must place to visit. The best part was the friendly staff at the hotel. They gave me a great agenda for each day to go see and do. I will be staying there again soon before I move into my rental."
Exquisite waterfront retreat on Buggs Island/Kerr Lake—perfect lakeside living!
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay enjoying the lake living. Enjoyed the proximity to the boat launch and availability to keep boat and boat trailer on-site. Just a few steps and you’re on the boat enjoying the lake. Fishing was good on the lake too!MIles and Cherise were great hosts! . Their communication for booking the property and questions regarding trailing a boat were answered immediately. They were very accommodating to our needs for the boat. They made the entire process easy and comfortable. Great job! Highly recommend a stay at this lake front property."
Lakefront Log Cabin on Beautiful Kerr Lake in downtown Clarksville VA
10/10 Excellent
"If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Cozy, clean, well equipped, and perfect location to stay in Clarksville . Fenced in backyard and doggie park were perfect for our Shihtzu. The hosts are extremely attentive and caring. My husband and I hope to stay here again."
Solar powered cottage at lake, with dock, on private 300 acre timber preserve
10/10 Excellent
"Property was excellent! Relaxing environment. Although only 700 sqft, it was well suited for our stay. The only thing missing was a full size couch - but the love seat was very cozy. I may have missed it but the instructions could be clearer regarding linens. Visitors need to supply bed linens, bath towels and kitchen towels. "
"The breakfast menu was very limited. Sausage gravy was cold. Waffles were good. Nice view of the lake, but the rooms and property overall is very dated. Staff was pleasant."
"The house is as advertised and more. Fabulous fully stocked kitchen and lovely screened in porch. Lots of room to spread out for large groups. Owner was super easy to work with. This is our second stay."
"This is a beautiful house and the property manager was great. The dock area was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the basement play area. The house had everything we needed, though I do wish there was a gas grill. Just one issue to keep in mind: this is really a six person house. There are 3 queen beds. The other sleeping capacity is air mattresses and uncomfortable pull outs. And there is a charge for more than 6 people (just to sleep on the floor). But with that said, we would definitely stay here again. Great house with a beautiful beach area, which is really all that matters at the lake!"
