"We enjoyed this hotel. Decor is dated but there are upgrades currently taking place. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The views are fantastic. I did not know before we went that the hotel beach was a mile away from the hotel. I would stay here again. Many things are within walking distance."
Cozy ADK Cabin in Tupper Lake - Near Rail Trail, Wild Center & Brewery
8/10 Good
"The cabin is small but in great condition. The only problem I ran into was at checkout. I could not find the black garbage can where I was supposed to put the garbage."
Beautiful waterfront cabin; breathtaking views of Whiteface Mountain
10/10 Excellent
"We are a couple with a dog and the cabin was the perfect size for us. The host went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great place to stay and to use as a home base for exploring the ADKs outdoors."
"This is my favorite hotel when visiting the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid region. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available. Overall, an excellent value."
Charming 2-bedroom cabin on the water! Featuring boathouse and dock Saranac Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Great time and very relaxing. Kathy was very responsive and helpful. Took time to explain the ins and outs of the house and area and even guided us to the property to make sure we didn’t get lost."
"The cabin was a little bit smaller than expected (photos on the website felt a little bit bigger) but everything was clean and comfortable. It was great having air-conditioning because we were there during a very hot week. We planned ahead and brought a an electric frying pan and an air fryer grill so that we could save a little bit of money and cook in our room so having picnic tables out on the grounds was wonderful to be able to take our food outside to eat.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi was very weak, we were not able to use the TV at all because it was connected to Wi-Fi. Thankfully there was a great thunderstorm that we could watch as we shut off all the lights and encourage us to tell some scary stories to each other!
My one suggestion would be to invest in a mesh system for the Wi-Fi so that the signal can reach all of the rooms and cabins successfully. Definitely helpful for parents like me that travel with children on the spectrum."
"We had a very nice 2-night stay. Property was well-maintained. There was a gentleman in the office when we arrived; he was extremely friendly and helpful. Pool towels were available, my kids jumped right in (it was a scorcher of a weekend!) The room was a comfortable temp. We didn’t spend that much time it, just wake-up and go to sleep. The fridge is NOT plugged in when you arrive - just a reminder! Our singular issue was the garbage. No one cleaned our room while we were gone (but that’s stated clearly.) My husband tracked a cleaning person but they didn’t speak English and indicated they had no garbage bags. With 3 kids and eating breakfast in the room, the garbage piled up
Pretty quickly; it would’ve been nice for someone to come take it away. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting the Wild Center - just bring your own trash bags!!"
