"My closet overhead light caught on fire. They tried to dismiss it like it was nothing. The lock on the door had been previously broken into. Television was not working and small bugs observed near window. Mold painted over in ceiling. I have NOT received my 100.00 deposit."

"Had a great time at the Longleaf. The hostess at check in was great and the check in process was very simple and streamlined. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom amenities were great, and the lounge was a perk. Loved that THC options were available as I don’t drink alcohol, they also had bingo and an amazing food truck the night I stayed and that was the cherry on top of a great experience. Would absolutely stay here again - very close to all of the fun places in downtown but just far enough away that you can sleep well without the bustling of the city. Great experience across the board. "

"Overall, it was an excellent stay - clean premises, excellent area, kind staff. The hotel was built before ADA. Even though I am not disabled, the lack of these accommodations in common areas was noticeable. There is one elevator at the very back of the building, and probably no more than 4 staircases (but only two floors). Again, an excellent place to stay. "

"The Retro Haven was a great place to stay for a quick visit to NC State! It was clean and cute, it had everything we could need. The beds were comfy and the home was convenient to campus."

"The house was as described. Perfect for our needs. We all had our own bedroom with on suite bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Directions were perfect. Kitchen was well appointed. Living space super comfortable. We were down for a funeral. The manager was very accommodating. Will definitely be back when we visit our Aunt."

"The hotel itself is not a 4-star hotel. This hotel is a 3-star hotel at best. The place was clean and looked nice, but the staff seemed clueless most of the time, and I got charged double for the room. The shower handle was broken and there were stains all over the comforter. "

"Really enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and kind. One thing I was not happy about was the shared microwave. Having to leave my room to go downstairs to warm up my food was a little inconvenient. A few other residents had to wait in line to use this one microwave in the entire hotel. Honestly think that problem needs to be adjusted. Otherwise I enjoyed my room and especially the ease of parking. "
